This absolutely pristine, custom trumpet allows for a rich dark tone with overtones that can fill a room. Courtois has been known for very fine instruments that allow a player to play with incredible fineness, dynamic range, and stylistic range. It has a .470 bore, so do your breathing exercises. The case is also like new as well as the beautiful mouthpiece. The mouthpiece size is 3SA. I would consider this a lead mouthpiece with .640 ID cup, fairly sharp cut to the rim which is .225 wide, (quite comfortable) approx. .180 throat with a fast backbore going to .339 (all measurements are in inches)
